How long does Black Rice keep after cooking?

Cooked Black Rice, after it has been properly cooled down to room temperature (about 70°F to 72°F), should then be placed in a hermetically sealed (air tight) food container and then stored in refrigerator for later use of up to 3-5 days. Hermetically sealed food container prevent the cooked Black Rice grains from absorbing odors and flavors from other foods stored in the same refrigerator. Never leave cooked Black Rice uncovered, it may result in food poisoning. Use clean utensils, so bacteria can\'t take hold. Later when Black Rice is re-heated (use temperature at least 170°F) - this will destroy any harmful bacteria.
